Overview

4-H Summer Camp is an affordable weeklong overnight camp for youth ages 8 to 18 held at Camp Seely in Crestline, CA. Located in the San Bernardino National Forest, our camp program provides a safe environment for campers to explore a diverse range of hands-on activities and learning experiences including handicrafts, athletic activities, nature-based learning opportunities, hiking, swimming, team building exercises, and much more.

Any youth aged 8 and older is welcome to participate in our camp program. This camp is hosted by Los Angeles County 4-H, part of the University of California 4-H Youth Development Program. Any youth and adult is invited to participate regardless of their geographic location. Campers come from all over California and beyond. All participants will be required to be enrolled as a regular 4-H member or adult volunteer.

4-H Summer Camp is organized by a staff of senior 4-H members (ages 14+), adult volunteers, and 4-H UCANR staff. Through youth/adult partnerships, our staff have the opportunity to develop their leadership skills through planning and running all aspects of the camp program. The 4-H Summer Camp Committee oversees the program policies, ACA accreditation, financial management, and selection of top camp staff leadership.
