Overview
For over 25 years, Camp ‘Can’ Do has been an overnight summer camp for burned children ages 6 to 17 in South Carolina. Camp ‘Can’ do provides burned children with transformative experiences that build friendships, develop life skills, and foster a can-do attitude. Burn nurses and medical staff, firefighters, and former campers volunteer their time and energy to this great week every summer for burned children campers.

Unique Features
- There is no cost to attend camp.
- Open to any South Carolina child ages 6 to 17 who has been treated for a burn injury.
- Camper transportation can be provided if needed.
- Located at Camp Cole, a safe place with unique experiences for individuals who might not typically be able to attend camp.
- Staffed by burn nurses, medical staff, firefighters, and former campers to ensure an amazing week of fun!

Stephanie, Camp Director, SCBCF Coordinator
Stephanie has been a volunteer with Camp 'Can' Do for 14 years. She has participated as a camper transporter, day-helper, counselor, and activities director. After retiring from the North Charleston Fire Department in 2023, she was appointed as Camp Director by the SC Burned Children's Fund, the charity organization that manages Camp 'Can' Do. Stephanie grew up attending 4-H & band overnight camps in West Virginia. She loves the work of planning camp and making a fun week for burn survivors.
