Camp Hendon

Camp Hendon’s flagship summer camp program welcomes campers with diabetes ages 8 – 17 for six days of fun and friendship. Hosted at two locations in Leitchfield,KY and Ravenna, KY.

At Camp Hendon, children with diabetes are surrounded by people just like them – both children and adults – who share their day-to-day ordeals and triumphs managing their diabetes. During one summer week, campers discover that they aren’t the only one in the world who have to prick their fingers, test their blood sugar, and count their carbs.
