Overview

Camp Jamison is a diverse, inclusive, and affordable overnight summer camp that serves children ages 8 to 14, primarily from the Philadelphia area. Founded in 2011, our mission is to create a joyful and welcoming environment where campers from all backgrounds can come together to build friendships, grow as leaders, and experience the lasting impact of nature and community. We offer a wide range of activities including swimming, canoeing, arts and crafts, sports, and peacebuilding sessions that promote self-awareness and conflict resolution.

Each summer, Camp Jamison provides a one-week overnight experience that is often a campers first time away from home, and we intentionally maintain a low-cost, sliding scale model to ensure accessibility for families. Our dedicated staff includes many former campers who now serve as counselors and leaders, helping to build a strong, intergenerational community grounded in joy, growth, and resilience.
