Overview

Tucked along the shores of Lake Kanawauke in Harriman State Park, Camp Ma-He-Tu is a traditional, all-girls overnight camp just one hour from New York City. Since 1937, Ma-He-Tu has been a place where girls ages 8–15 can unplug from everyday life, build lifelong friendships, and grow in confidence through adventure, creativity, and community. Surrounded by forests and lake views, campers spend their days swimming, sailing, hiking, and laughing together—embracing a summer full of fun, growth, and sisterhood.

Audrey Parnell, Director

Audrey grew up in Prague, Oklahoma and has spent every summer since childhood attending, volunteering or working at camp. She worked her way up the ranks from camper, to CIT, to counselor, leadership staff, and most recently, Camp Director at Girl Scouts Western Oklahoma. Audrey's background in ACA accreditation, history in camping, and passion for girls' will serve her well as the new Camp Director at Ma-He-Tu.
