Overview
Camp Mendocino is an outdoor education and environmental awareness program owned and operated by Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco. Our mission is to enable and inspire all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. We surround our kids with positive role models 24 hours a day to provide the love and encouragement they need to realize their full potential.
Camp Mendocino is co-ed; boys are located on one side of Camp and girls are on the other. Age groups are separated into different “villages” and each village has four cabins located together with their own bathrooms and showers. Cabins have six bunk beds and are solid wood structures with canvas flaps covering windows and the door.

- Well-trained staff from all backgrounds and countries create a family atmosphere and foster connections that help campers to grow as people.
- Teen leadership programs available for ages 15-17 to gain valuable skills and take on more responsibility.
- Transportation to and from Camp is provided for all campers.
- About 40% of our campers are members of Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco, and 60% come from the Bay Area, different states, or other countries!
