Camp Monterey

Camp Monterey is a residential camp for girls ages 7-17 in the heart of the Cumberland Mountains. Founded in 1945 by Miss Dollie Williams to give young girls an opportunity to live in an atmosphere of simplicity and love; to provide opportunities to learn new skills and improve the ones they already have; to make possible an awareness of our Creator through the beauty of nature; to encourage cooperation and teamwork; and to foster the belief that developing our God-given talents, helping others all we can, and making lasting friendships are the keys to a happy life.

Camp Monterey along with our brother camp, Camp Country Lad, continues to be directed by the Williams family, along with dedicated and experienced Senior Staff.
