Since 1945, YMCA Camp Shaver has been providing quality fun & educational programs for the youth of New Mexico and the Southwest. Located in the Beautiful Jemez Mountains of New Mexico, Camp Shaver provides the youth of today a safe and awe-inspiring setting to develop self-esteem & personal character, learn teamwork, gain a sense of community, and develop an appreciation and respect for the environment. - Our goal is to provide a place where children feel safe, cared for, and a sense of belonging from the moment they get to camp.
- Campers make new friends, enjoy tons of activities, and learn how to work together and grow into their best selves.
- Teen leadership programs for ages 13-15 (LIT) and ages 14-16 (CIT).
- All meals are prepared with your active child in mind. At Camp Shaver, our food is delicious, healthy, and well-balanced.
