Overview
Camps Kenwood & Evergreen is a brother-sister overnight camp on 230 acres and a private lake in Wilmot, New Hampshire. We’ve been doing this since 1930. Kenwood is for boys. Evergreen is for girls. Each side has its own cabins, program, and staff. Then everyone comes together for campfires, Color War, and the traditions kids talk about all winter. We’re small on purpose, about 130 kids per camp. Every counselor knows every kid by name. And camp is phone-free all summer, so kids look up and talk to each other. Ages 7 to 15. Full summer or three-week halves, plus Rookie Week for first-timers.

Unique Features
- Brother-sister balance. Boys and girls get their own programs and lodges, then come together for Color War, campfires, and traditions.
- Small by design. Fewer than 130 campers on each side of camp means every kid has a chance to shine and be known.
- Down-to-earth culture. Families tell us they value the camp culture: less about flash, more about kindness, character, and making real connections.
- Phone-free all summer. Kids look up, talk to each other, and write real letters home.
- Rookie Week for rising 2nd and 3rd graders. One week to try camp with our most caring counselors.

Welcome Message
Jack Schott, Owner and Director
I spent 16 summers at camp as a kid and a counselor. I've visited 500+ camps since. Kenwood & Evergreen is the one I bought. Here's why. It's small enough that every kid gets known. It's phone-free, so kids talk to each other. And it's been doing this on the same lake since 1930. The first night, your kid might be nervous. By day three, they're too busy to notice. Call or text me. I'd love to tell you more. 585-451-5141
