Welcome to Ponderosa Bible Camp & Retreat Center, a non-profit Christian camp nestled in northeast Alabama. Established in 1947 and rooted at our current location since 1976, we specialize in one-week overnight summer camp sessions for boys and girls aged 7-17. Our mission is to facilitate growth and a Christ-centered experience through unforgettable camp adventures.
At Ponderosa, we hold firm in our belief that the Bible is the true and accurate Word of God, serving as the authority for faith and conduct. Through our camp programs, we provide an open and effective platform to teach the Bible to kids and teens while ensuring they embark on an unforgettable camping journey. Since 1998, Jeff and his wife Ann have dedicated themselves wholeheartedly to the camp. In his role as Executive Director, Jeff's visionary leadership propels our camp towards continuous growth and impact. Ann, his wife, contributes significantly as our camp photographer and adeptly manages our website and social media platforms.
