At 10,200 feet, Shwayder Camp is located in Colorado on the slopes of Mt. Blue Sky. Known for its breathtaking views, our mountain paradise offers campers a unique experience filled with adventure, friendship, Jewish values, and tons of memories.
The mission of Shwayder Camp is to provide an environment that enables members of the camp community to create for themselves a meaningful Jewish life. By exemplifying Jewish values and traditions, we endeavor to build relationships, cultivate self-esteem, develop Jewish identity, inspire an appreciation for the wonder and beauty of the natural environment, and promote the unique capabilities of each individual.

Rose, Camp Director
Hailing from the sweet town of Hershey, Pennsylvania, Rose Savage Levenson (she/her) is grateful to have worked in the Jewish communal space for the past decade. Rose’s love for Jewish camp began when she was a camper at URJ Camp Harlam. Since then, Rose has worked seasonally as a counselor and unit head, and full-time as an assistant, associate, and interim camp director for camps and programs across the country.
