Situated in the pristine wilderness of Maine’s beautiful Belgrade Lakes region, Camp Modin is the oldest continuously operating Jewish camp in the United States. This traditional coed camp is a place where kids can build strong friendships, explore nature, and try new things in a safe and supportive environment. With exciting programs and extensive, state-of-art facilities, there’s something for every camper at Modin.
Since its inception in 1922, Camp Modin’s philosophy has been to know and understand each child individually, build a sense of community, and provide an awareness of Jewish identity. Located on a private, unspoiled lake, campers from around the world, ages 7-16, enjoy a community-oriented environment in which they can learn, grow and develop lifelong friendships.
