Camp Thunderbird, a Brother/Sister camp located on Lake Plantagenet in the Northwoods of Minnesota, features two separate single-gender camps only miles a part with mirror-image programs and schedules. Set on 700 acres of pristine shoreline, Camp Thunderbird allows boys and girls to have a shared camp experience, while still carving out their own adventure in the context of a single-gender environment.

Rooted in a tradition dating back to 1946, Thunderbird continues to stay true to its past. We have always and continue to provide campers with a safe place to spread their wings, chart their path, forge profound friendships, and explore all the outdoors has to offer.

Specialty camp focus: Wilderness Trips
This is a Brother/Sister camp on one property. Boys and girls do things separately but share some coed experiences.
