Alvaro "Alvi" Baquero-Benedetti, the Assistant Summer Camp Director at Forest Lake Camp, has a long-standing connection with the camp. He began as a camper for seven years and progressed through roles such as Counselor-in-Training, Head Counselor, and Director of Family Camp. Alvi holds a Bachelor's in Mass Media and an MFA in Film and TV Production. Known for his methodical approach, organizational skills, and adaptive leadership, he creates a structured and supportive environment.

In the winter, Alvi teaches skiing, demonstrating his commitment to outdoor education. His love for travel enhances his appreciation of the diverse backgrounds of the camp's counselors. Alvi's vision is to foster inclusivity and mutual respect, contributing to a cohesive and supportive camp culture.
