Overview
LG Cook 4-H Camp has been running summer camps since 1951, and we aim to offer the same simple, social, transformative environment we always have. We offer a tech-free, rustic summer camp experience focused on making new friends, laughing a lot, trying new things, and creating a community dedicated to simply enjoying our week out in the woods together. Campers depart with new friends, increased self-confidence, and memories that will last a lifetime.
Our classic one week sessions feature a whole summer of fun jam-packed into six days of non-stop fun, activities, community building and cabin life. For campers who can’t get enough 4-H Camp, we now end the summer with our BIG session – 18 days of Summer Camp!

Welcome Message
Ben, Camp Director
Ben first came to L.G. Cook 4-H Camp as a camper, in the summer of 1995, and he hasn’t missed a summer since. He’s been a camper, CIT, volunteer, counselor, Senior Staff Member, Summer Camp Director, Program Director, and now Camp Director. They say when looking for a career, think of what your favorite thing was when you were 12, and try to do that. When Ben was 12, his favorite thing was Summer Camp, so it worked out okay.
