Overview
The Vineyard Camp is a inter-denominational ministry dedicated to teaching children and youth about God, His love for them and Christ’s call to discipleship. Through our staff we hope to demonstrate not only character and integrity, but also holy living and how to love one another–just as GOD loves us.
Located in Westfield, North Carolina, The Vineyard is a conservative, evangelical, international camp that provides an apologetic approach to the Christian faith. We try to disciple youth using a “lifestyle approach” by spending most of the day with sports and recreation and offering evening worship services and optional Bible studies at night. - Each camper chooses one major per week, and two different electives each day.

Dean, Camp Director
Dean Barley is the founder and Executive Director of The Vineyard. He is a licensed and ordained pastor and lives at the camp. He grew up in central Florida, attended Stetson University, and was a Brown Scholar at Southeast Baptist Theological Seminary at Wake Forest, where he received a Masters Degree in Languages.
