Overview
YMCA Camp Hanes offers weeklong traditional camp sessions for children to experience a wide variety of adventures in a safe, caring camp environment. These activities will enhance a camper's self-esteem, confidence, and social skills.
They learn to live, eat, work and play together in a positive character building setting focused on honesty, caring, respect, responsibility, and faith. Children will live in a 10-12 camper cabin with at least two well-trained, responsible staff leaders. Our goal is for the kids to leave camp having had fun, but more importantly, to leave feeling good about themselves, their accomplishments, and the friends they made during the week.

- Our program helps campers develop a sense of achievement, belonging and build great relationships.
- Well-rounded meals served family-style with a variety of choices for even the pickiest of eaters.
- Evening activities include campfires, s'mores, pool parties, dances, scavenger hunts, stargazing, and more!
- Adventure camp program for ages 13-15 who love the outdoors, including hiking, sleeping in tents, cooking over a campfire, caving, and rafting!
- Teen leadership programs for rising 10th and 11th graders to gain leadership skills and learn about being a camp counselor.

Hello Perspective Camp Family! YMCA Camp Hanes is located in a natural setting nestled at the base of Sauratown Mountain. We focus our attention on encouraging campers to Be Your Best Self through having an attitude of gratitude and representing our core values of Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, Caring, and Faith.
