Camp Can Do – Eastover, SC
Camp ‘Can’ Do is a one week overnight camp for any South Carolina child between ages 6-17 who has been treated for a burn injury. Located at Camp Cole in Eastover, South Carolina, this camp is operated by the SC Burned Children’s Fund and is staffed by volunteers burn nurses, firefighters, physicians, and former campers. Camp ‘Can’ Do is free for families and has been providing fun and transformative experiences for burned children for over 25 years.
Camp Celebrate – Wake Forest, NC
Located at YMCA Camp Kanata in Wake Forest, NC, Camp Celebrate is a free weekend camp for any North Carolina child between ages 7-15 who has been treated for a burn injury. Established in 1982, it was the first camp of its kind and provides an amazing experience for its campers. The camp is staffed by caring volunteers, including firefighters and Jaycees, to provide a fun and enriching experience. Teen burn survivors aged 16-18 can serve as Counselors-in-Training. Activities include swimming, canoeing, fishing, and arts and crafts.
Summer Camp for Burn Injured Youth – East Troy, WI
Located at Camp Timber-lee in East Troy, WI, Summer Camp for Burn Injured Youth, or “Burn Camp” for short, is a free, week-long, overnight summer camp experience for kids 7-17 with life-changing burn injuries to grow their lifelong support system, continue to heal, and just be a kid. The dedication and participation of more than 100 burn survivors and volunteers makes this camp special for everyone who attends.

Located at the KOA Campgrounds in Chula Vista, CA, Camp Beyond the Scars is a free, week-long, overnight summer camp experience for kids 8-17 have experienced a burn injury. The camp provides a relaxed social setting, which supports burn-injured children so they can have fun, learn coping skills, and build relationships with other burn survivors. activities include swimming, basketball, volleyball, archery, crafts, and more.
