Overview

Our 3 to 12 day Expedition Camps transport 5th – 12th graders to some of the most stunning, secluded natural spaces in Colorado and Wyoming for an authentic—and transformative—experience.

Expedition campers travel from the Boulder area to locations in the Colorado backcountry or Wyoming, sleep in tents every night, and adventure every day, choosing to focus on mountain biking, climbing, backpacking, paddling, or a multi-sport experience. In addition to exploring their spectacular surroundings and logging lots of practice in their sport of choice, they learn lasting skills in everything from gear management and cooking outdoors to problem-solving and teamwork. Perfect for kids and teens craving a genuine outdoors experience in a small-group setting, our eye-opening expeditions give campers the know-how and confidence they need for many adventures to come.

Unique Features

Skill Progression: We focus on skill progression with our multi-sport and single sport options to help encourage and support technical growth.
Small Group Experience: With a group size of no more than 13 campers and 2 staff, campers will develop life long friendships and memories.
Backcountry Skills: Kids sleep in tents, participate in setting up and maintaining their campsite, help prepare meals, and learn Leave No Trace principles.
Amazing Destinations: Expeditions transport kids to some of the most stunning, secluded wild spaces for authentic and transformative experiences.
Experienced Staff: We hire world class, experienced staff members who are excellent role models for kiddos.
